'The Bachelorette' Men Tell All - Such a B Fest Between Men

The Bachelorette, Men Tell All was the usual fest of men bagging on each others characters while trying to pound their own chests.

Right off the bat Kalon was the main target of the emotional jab of the night, with his helicopters and snoody 'tude.  At least he owned up to being how he is, and that's refreshing to see.

And Kalon's most insightful observation... is that America wants everything sugarcoated rather than bluntly delivered to them.  Oh thank god he cleared that up.

Of course, this not being that shocking, is that Kalon went on The Bachelor Pad.  Go figure.

But Kalon was not alone.

Most of the guys who had blundering lines throughout the season, seemed to back them up, saying they'd say it again.

Ryan's says he's say it again, some of the things he said before, because, wait for it...  he was joking.

Chris Harrison felt obliged to calm the nerves of America and say that Ryan will not be the next Bachelor.

(I'm thinking Sean will be, or could very easily be the next Bachelor.  He lit up the volume of cheers more than anyone else there.)

Then There Was Chris

The enigma of a 25-year-old, says because of Emily, he's prepared to be in love.  (And Chris was the brunt of many questions from the guys.)

Oh, and Chris signed up for The Bachelor Pad.  I guess he's recovered from Emily.

Sean was up and we had to relive his sad story of hope and failure.  He did handle his rejection ride rather humbly, unlike, like say, Ryan.

He made note how solid he thought his future was with Emily and that was the first time a woman truly broke his heart.

But now he says Emily opened his eyes and he's open to finding love sooner than later.

(I'm amazed the women in the audience stayed in their seats when he said that one.)

Emily came out looking seriously sharp and she looked happy... her eyes smiling.

Sean thanked Emily personally for opening his eyes.

Chris ... um, said the same thing.

Doug...  she pointed out having the first kiss and break up talk at the same time!  LOL.

She regrets not giving Doug the group date rose and that she could be engaged to Kalon if not for him!  (she clarified that was just a joke)

She touches on being angry with Kalon.

The best line of the show was that he should be a politician, considering the bulls* that comes out of his mouth.  (PARAPHRASED)

She hopes Kalon finds something bigger than his Prada shoes or rented helicopter.

Ryan...  she fessed she really had a thing for "this bad boy." 

He was that guy that was a sweet talker, but good at going around questions, and found herself starting to like him from his game.

They precapped the finale, and don't forget, the finale of The Bachelorette is on this Sunday.

Series Synopsis:  Anthony Melchiorri, a hotel "fixer," turns struggling hotels into bustling tourist destinations.  Each episode features a hotel that is having problems or not living up to its potential.  Melchiorri secretly scouts the property, identifies its biggest problems and meets with the staff – from front desk receptionists to the owners themselves.  After coming up with a plan and prescribing the changes that need to be made, Melchiorri revamps and re-motivates the staff and transforms the hotel.

Recommended by Minnesota resident and famous chef, Andrew Zimmern, Adam Richman is in Minneapolis for a taste of Tilia's fish taco torta: a crunchy combo of fried mahi mahi, tortilla chips and creamy peppadew slaw.  Then it's off to Green Bay for a bite of Kroll's prime rib sandwich, where Richman adds sautéed onions, mushrooms, peppers and butter-infused au jus to the savory prime rib.  It's a tough decision between these two contenders, but there's one more sandwich Richman needs to sample and judge.  He heads to Detroit for one of his favorites, the Yardbird sandwich at Slow's Bar-BQ:  juicy smoked chicken breast topped with mustard sauce, mushrooms, cheddar cheese and piled high with crispy bacon.  As the competition gets tighter, Richman must decide which of these delicious sandwiches moves on to the finals to be crowned the best sandwich in America!

This mini-series will be written by Mike Johnson (Star Trek) and Mairghread Scott, the writer of the TRANSFORMERS: PRIME animated series. Artist Agustin Padilla (Dungeons & Dragons) will take on the interiors while illustrator Ken Christiansen will provide compelling covers.

Synopsis
In the last moments of World War II, a secret Nazi space program evaded destruction by fleeing to the Dark Side of the Moon. During 70 years of utter secrecy, the Nazis construct a gigantic space fortress with a massive armada of flying saucers.

When American astronaut James Washington (Christopher Kirby) puts down his Lunar Lander a bit too close to the secret Nazi base, the Moon Führer (Udo Kier) decides the glorious moment of retaking the Earth has arrived sooner than expected. Washington claims the mission is just a publicity stunt for the President of the United States (Stephanie Paul), but what else could the man be but a scout for the imminent attack by Earth forces? The Fourth Reich must act!

Two Nazi officers, ruthless Klaus Adler (Götz Otto) and idealistic Renate Richter (Julia Dietze), travel to Earth to prepare the invasion. In the end when the Moon Nazi UFO armada darkens the skies, ready to strike at the unprepared Earth, every man, woman and nation alike, must re-evaluate their priorities.

Burbank, CA – July 12, 2012 – Legendary Comics, the comic division of Legendary Entertainment, is using Comic-Con International 2012 as the venue to unveil the new creators who will be working on projects for the company in 2013. Legendary announced today that Mark Waid (Kingdom Come, Daredevil), Shane Davis (Final Crisis: Rage of the Red Lanterns, Superman: Earth One), and Max Brooks (The Zombie Survival Guide, G.I. Joe: Hearts & Minds) will join forces on Shadow Walk, an all-new graphic novel that is set to launch in 2013. At its panel on Thursday afternoon, Legendary will be making another project announcement featuring one of the biggest names in comics.

Also appearing at Comic-Con for Legendary are Matt Wagner (Grendel, Mage) and Simon Bisley (2000 AD & Lobo) – who are currently working on the division's first-original IP release of The Tower Chronicles, which hits stores September 28. With a  story co-created by Legendary Entertainment's Chairman and CEO Thomas Tull, Executive Producer of 300 & The Dark Knight, The Tower Chronicles creates a new mythology on familiar worlds through a unique take on the bounty hunter storyline. Renowned artist Jim Lee created the first cover for The Tower Chronicles. The cover art for the second book of Volume One, which was drawn by an equally acclaimed artist, will also be revealed at the Legendary Comics panel on Thursday at 5 pm in Room 6A.

About Shadow Walk
"As I Walk Through The Valley In The Shadow of Death." 

Is the Shadow of Death a metaphor or could it be a real place? Three separate incidents – in 1914, 1948, and 1968 – in a valley near modern day Iraq seem to give credence to those who believe it is a real place. In each incident, all occurring during a time of war, a group of soldiers disappears and is never heard from again. Satellite photos over the Valley displays images that seem to defy the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Firsthand accounts and video – previously never before having seen the light of day - from all three incidents portray remarkably consistent tales of men being mutilated and god awful shrieking that could only be from a demon or monster.

Now, two weeks ago, another photo taken over the area hints at some kind of new energy source. A small group of Special-Ops soldiers is sent into the Valley with two props – the skull of John the Baptist and a shard from the actual cross on which Jesus was crucified. Led by John Raines, an efficient killer with a strong code of ethics who has been rotting in Guantanamo for allegedly killing his entire platoon when he was dispatched into the Valley six months ago, they head into battle against a whole roster of creatures.  Now they will find out once and for all if the road to Hell has just opened up.

Neil Gaiman Announces His Return to One of the Most Celebrated Comic Books of All-Time -- THE SANDMAN

Surprise Announcement at San Diego Comic-Con Pairs Legendary, Award Winning Author with Artist JH Williams, III Under DC Entertainment's Vertigo Imprint

SAN DIEGO, CA – July 12, 2012 – Twenty-five years after one of the most celebrated graphic novels of all-time hit shelves, award winning and critically acclaimed author and screenwriter, Neil Gaiman, announces his return to THE SANDMAN. Gaiman made the surprise announcement, via video, at DC Entertainment's Vertigo panel at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.  Karen Berger, Executive Editor of Vertigo, then revealed that Gaiman is paired with artist, JH Williams III (BATWOMAN) for the series, who appeared on stage to an already stunned and elated crowd. THE SANDMAN mini-series will be published by Vertigo in 2013.

One of the few graphic novels ever to be on the New York Times Best Seller list and lauded by critics the world over, THE SANDMAN is credited with changing the path of storytelling in the comic book industry. Gaiman will pick up his pen for the first time in more than 10 years since ending the series to continue a story that he feels still has yet to be told.

"When I finished writing THE SANDMAN, there was one tale still untold. The story of what had happened to Morpheus to allow him to be so easily captured in THE SANDMAN #1, and why he was returned from far away, exhausted beyond imagining, and dressed for war.
