THE APPRENTICE: Is Geraldo Rivera a Huge Prima Donna?

I'm watching the latest edition of The Apprentice, I like the teams who have a great mix of brains and looks, and a few surprising intellects.

One of the surprising mind sets is Kevin Jonas, who carried himself strongly through the first few episodes (so far).  I also like Ian Ziering, who carries himself well and presents his ideas in a smart and succinct fashion.

In the latest challenge the men and women teams were charged with making a TV commercial about a product that helps the consumer get his paperwork organized.

Jonas was leading the task. He seemed to be in his element, but as he started pitching the group's idea for their commercial, Geraldo Rivera started to blatantly interrupt him.

Later on the commercial set, Geraldo was very distracting and disrespectful to Kevin. No matter what Kevin tried to do Geraldo had to interject. Then when another cast member tried to help him calm down, Geraldo became pretty indignant.

And of course there is the chastising Ian for Ian pointing at him. Geraldo does not like people pointing at him.

Seriously?

Up until today I truly did not have an opinion one way or the other about Rivera, but after this show (so far), he has impressed upon me what seems like an incredibly egotistically self-centered Hollywood personality.

It's a shame really, but it seems to be all about him in these first few episodes. But hey, if he feels like he deserves the treatment, so be it. I'm glad I don't have to deal with him.
