•      Project X, the party down movie... from director Nima Nourizadeh in his directorial debut, with Thomas Mann and Oliver Cooper, in a movie about

"3 high school seniors throw a birthday party to make a name for themselves. As the night progresses, things spiral out of control as word of the party spreads."
A movie about out of control teens and a newbie director.  Hmm.

 •      Dr. Seuss' The Lorax, from director Chris Renaud (Despicable Me) and starring the voice power of Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Betty White and many more.  The story of The Lorax is about
"A 12-year-old boy searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world."
Lots of talent, experienced director...  looks like a promising family movie that will dethrone Mysterious Island as the #1 family movie.

 •      Bel Ami comes from directors Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod (No discernable directing experience).  It stars Robert Pattinson, Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas, Colm Meaney and more in a story about
"a young man's rise to power in Paris via his manipulation of the city's most influential and wealthy women."
Scandal and a good looking man (according to some.)  Directors first major motion picture.  Here's hoping!

 •      Being Flynn comes from director Paul Weitz (Little Fockers, Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant ), who also wrote and produced; The cast includes Robert De Niro, Paul Dano, Julianne Moore, Olivia Thirlby and Lili Taylor.  It's about a man who is...
"Working in a Boston homeless shelter, Nick Flynn re-encounters his father, a con man and self-proclaimed poet. Sensing trouble in his own life, Nick wrestles with the notion of reaching out yet again to his dad."
Fascinating cast and from a director whose experience is more comedic fun than anything else?  Eh, that's not always the show stopper.
