Erica Durance and Michael Shanks To Star in NBC Series 'Saving Hope'

NBC has ordered a show called Saving Hope, which will be starring Smallville's Erica Durance and Stargate's Michael Shanks. (Who also starred in Smallville.)

Right after the new year began, I had written about Saving Hope, (over on my other site) and, well, hoping NBC would snag it.  I was more or less following up on Stargate cast and such and where they were.

But coming this summer, NBC will be airing their 13-episode order of Saving Hope which they ordered from the show's Canadian producer.  In the series Durance and Shanks are married engaged, except the snag here that will keep us riveted is that he's in a coma and wanders the halls in spirit form.

Saving Hope is executive produced by Ilana Frank (Rookie Blue).  My hopes are actually set fairly high because I enjoyed Rookie Blue.
