'The Following' Had Solid Ratings Numbers

Last night The Following premiered, and I must say, it was captivating and tossed in some great twists and turns as the story moved along.

It's definitely something I'd recommend!

And from the looks of things, from the overnight TV ratings that TV Guide is reporting, many folk tuned in live with me.

Monday's premiere of pulled in a 3.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic of viewers.  (Yes, if you're outside that age range, you're not as important to advertisers!)

Overall, Kevin Bacon had 10.4 million viewers tuning in to watch.  It dusted The Bachelor, Bones, Biggest Loser, Hawaii Five-0, Castle and Deception... actually, Deception seems to be fading in numbers.  Eh, it doesn't draw me in either. At 10 p.m., I headed off to Syfy to catch Lost Girl. (I watch the other shows in a time-shifted fashion.)

I can't wait to see how well The Following does after the live+7 numbers come out.  Fox made note that an encore airing will play on Friday night.
