'Sons of Anarchy' 2013 Premiere Date and Cast/Character News Bits

SoA premiere date and casting news (Charline Hunnam as Jax, pictured)
FX announced that the sixth season of Sons of Anarchy will be returning on Tuesday, Sept., 10th.

It's going to be the usual bit of crazy for the series from Kurt Sutter.

If you recall, Jax (Charlie Hunnam) framed Clay (Ron Perlman) for the murder of Damon Pope.  And Gemma (Katey Sagal, wife of Kurt Sutter) had done a dirty deed and now Jax is scrambling to keep Tara (Maggie Siff) out of jail for conspiracy to commit murder.

Remember, she gave Otto (played by Kurt Sutter) a cross, which in turn, he used to kill someone in prison with.

While all this is going on, Jax is trying to get the club off it's violent streak and get the group focused on legitamite business concerns.

Hey, did anyone catch Hunnam and Perlman in this summer's big (litterally) box office movie, Pacific Rim?  If you're of the mind of giant robots and monsters, then I'd recommend it!  It was pure fun!

The following season six story and cast updates could be considered spoilers for some...

Kim Dickens will be joining the cast as madame Colette Jane.

C. Thomas Howell will be in the recurring role of Frank Eagan, an ATF Agent.  But we're not sure where his loyalties lie.

Steve Howey will be playing a guy named Hopper, a hardcore SAMCRO member from North Vegas.

CCH Pounder (playing a San Joaquin County District Attorney) and Bridget Regan will also be on board the series.

Drea de Matteo will be reprising her role of Jax’s troublesome ex Wendy.

Jimmy Smits is returning in a full-time capacity in the series as Nero.

That pesky, pia former U.S. Marshall Lee Toric (Donal Logue) will be back.

Tara will have a bit of a new "do."

Chibs will be the new VP
