'Breaking Bad' Recap of "Confessions" - It's Gone Again...

After this, there is only five episodes of Breaking Bad left.  The heat is cranking up and all characters are starting to revv up for the series finale.

recap of 'Breaking Bad' episode titled "Confessions"

The episode, titled "confessions," opens to Todd recounting his adventures with Jesse and Walter while robbing the train. This to two hacks from his new drug ring.  Seriously, did he not remember Walter saying way back, never tell anyone?

Jerk wad.  And it looks like he's headed back into NM, with intent to cook the blue.  He thinks he can do it.

-

Back from commercial break, we watch Hank try to get Jesse to talk, but basically, Jesse says "eat me."  Then Saul showed up.

Hank is despondent about his lack of cooperation from Walter's associates.

Going to break, we see Walter filming a confession.  I wonder what lies will be in there?

Back from break, Walter, Sky, Hank and Marie are meeting for dinner in a public location.  Wha???  Hank looks pretty intense.  But this is Walter, asking them to leave his kids out of it.  Nothing more.  And Sky is on board with thinking the kids are safe.

Walt is such a dick, tossing sympathy blame towards Hank about letting it go because of the kids.  Then Marie makes a brutal suggestion, that Walt should kill himself.

Hank about confessing:  "Be a man and step up.  There is no other option."

Walt and Sky leave, and Walt gives him his "confession video."  Wow, what a f*er!  It's his "confession" of working for Hank and using Hank's connections to build a meth business.

Walter has hit new lows with this video tape and this is going to put Hank in a very fascinating corner.

I have no idea what I'd do in his situation.  Dang.

-

Far out in the desert, Saul and Jesse meet Walter.  It's here that Walter learns from Jesse that Hank has not told anyone else in his office.

Walter suggests Jesse leave town and get away from town.  Start with a clean slate.  Jesse breaks down, asking Walt to quit working him.  Walt hugs him and I can't tell if it's genuine or his usual devious mode.

-

Skylar is spacing out, but Walter is convinced his little video trick worked.  What a sanctimonious bitch.  (I'm talking Walt, not Sky)

It's looking like Jesse might be taking Walter's advice, but Jesse doesn't look so hot.  While Jesse waits for his ride out of town, something hits him.  That Saul stole the Ricin cigarette from him.  And he's seriously ticked!

In the subsequent scene, we see the duality of Walt's psych.  He comes ripping up to the entrance of the car wash, then as he touches the door, he changes instantly from frantic, to calm.

The episode ends with an angry Jesse dousing the inside of Walt's house with gasoline.

-

I'm wondering if this new twist from Walt, with the video, which threatens not only Hank, but Sky's sister, Marie, might push Sky in the right direction finally.

Upcoming episode titles include To'hajiilee, Ozymandias, Granite State and Felina.
