BETTER CALL SAUL Nets Themselves Enforcer Mike!

Better Call Saul casting news

Mike, as you may recall, was Saul's right hand man, when it came to making sure things went right.

Jonathan Banks to play Mike in BETTER CALL SAUL

This is the best casting news I've heard for the show.  Past rumors said that Walter and Jesse will be making bit appearances, but we'll see how that pans out.  I'm not expecting much beyond a brief appearance or sound byte or reference.

But with the casting of Mike, I have to wonder if we might also be seeing Gus sometime.  Gus the chicken guy, or Gustavo 'Gus' Fring, was played by Giancarlo Esposito.  And for me, became an awesome bad guy.

From AMC and Sony Pictures, "Better Call Saul" will follow the early career path of Breaking Bad's sleazy yet intellegient lawyer, Saul Goodman, before he became Walter White's lawyer. Bob Odenkirk will be reprising the role.

And now Jonathan Banks is on board the show.

If you recall, in the story line of Breaking Bad,

SPOILERS if you haven't see the show yet
Mike bought it at the hand of Walter, (Bryan Cranston), who misktakenly killed him for a list of names, that later, he realized, he could have gotten from Lydia.  It was this stage of the series that I was off the Walter wagon, and on the "get his ass" wagon!

Ass hat!
