'Ride With Norman Reedus' on AMC

Over on The Walking Dead one of the more surprise popular characters turned out to be Daryl Dixon, played by Nornam Reedus. Everyone loves the rough and tough biker dude. (I'm not discounting the recently distressed Glenn...)

In fact he's so popular among TWD crew that he's getting some great treatment from AMC, while they put together a non-fiction series, initially called Ride with Norman Reedus. It makes sense considering Norman is an avid rider.

The series will premiere in 2016, consist of six episodes, each one hour long, and he will be riding his bike into a different city in each episode, exploring what they're describing as the motorcycle culture on the road to that city.

In the subsequent text of the press release, it's obvious this won't be a fictional actioner but instead, they'll "celebrate some of the best and brightest collectors, mechanics and motorcycle craftsmen around the country."

And this does not mean that Daryl is being killed off in The Walking Dead. He's filming this series during his break from filming TWD. Many actors do double time like this. Besides, if they were killing him off, they would not be so public in advertising that he's on a new show.
