MADTV Returns, Discovery Channel and Cartoon Network Renew A Few, Tyler Perry's New Show, And More

The CW is reviving MadTV by ordering up eight new episodes of the series. With the new version, they will be paying homage to the old show which will include guest appearances by some of the old cast members.

The order comes on the heels of an hour-long special they aired that pulled in nearly 2 million viewers.

Discovery Channel has ordered a new motorcycle docuseries called “Sacred Steel” that will air as part of its motor-themed Monday line-up.

Tyler Perry will have a new scripted series coming to TLC. The working title right now is Too Close to Home.

It’s Sunny in Philadelphia got renewed for two more seasons on FXX.

Amazon renewed Bosch for a third season.

The fourth film in the "Sharknado” franchise, called Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, will debut on Sunday, July 31.  The story will pick up five years after the events of Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!.
