David Twohy has a new film on the horizon, called Ice Moon Rising.

"The story centers on a mission to Europa, a moon of Jupiter that is covered in ice and may have an ocean underneath that could support life. Astronauts on a U.S. mission to the Jovian moon encounter an alien life form, and a male astronaut is infected with an untreatable ailment. "

His latest work has been on the Riddick-based movies, like Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick and Riddick. But he's also pumped out

A Perfect Getaway, which is a fantastic film that never caught on,

The Arrival, Waterworld, The Fugitive and a few others.

He's also got a film on his mind that will take place in Riddick's world, called Furia.

EW is reporting that the newest Batman flick, the animated Batman: The Killing Joke, will be DC's first animated R-rated flick! Dang!

I find it curious how suddenly some folks are embracing the 'R' rating after Deadpool started setting movies for the 'R' rated category.

The producers of CW's Arrow know that we hate those flashbacks.

And they will keep making them, because, get this, " is seeing what a big difference it is between Oliver Queen in the present day and Oliver Queen five years ago," and they further say that, " "The way we write the story is still very much married to that backstory, and trying to change it up at this point would feel weird."

I don't know about you but I hate empty "spin."

As far as I'm concerned, the flashbacks are just time-fillers. Nothing more. I mean, when his life is in jeopardy in a flashback, um, well, we all know he'll live through it, so what's the point? Right?
