SUPERGIRL, BOND, TRANSFORMERS Dog, STAR WARS

Supergirl on The CW

It's been announced that Superman WILL APPEAR in The CW's Supergirl TV series, and he will do so in the first two appearances. Now, for the casting and the concerns.

First up, there's articles popping up about who could play the character. I don't like doing those kinds of articles because in the end, they end up being wrong.

Secondly, it will be weird to have a TV Superman and a movie Superman. They should just see if they can get Cavill to do it, as a gift or something like that.  (As if that's going to happen.

Any way, we'll see how things settle once the show airs on the CW.

Tom Hiddleston

At a recent convention, Tom Hiddleston is saying to not hold our breaths about him playing James Bond, and capped off the statement by saying your guess is as good as mine who the studio will pick.

Now.. is that redirection talk or is it real? I've seen studio execs blatantly lie about casting or events concerning a character. Could Hiddleston just be playing coy?

Transformers The Last Knight

Michael Bay is doing a kind thing by casting Freya, a 6-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier, known as Britain's loneliest dog, in his next Transformers movie. Freya is the lonliest dog because she has epilspsy and has been in shelters most of her life.

Bay has promised to find her a home, even if it has to be his.

Crap, now I have to like him even more.

Star Wars

Here's a funny statement:

"If you haven’t seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens at a movie theater, you’ve now officially missed out: The movie’s record-setting theatrical run is over. "

As if Disney won't re-release it in theaters a dozen times or so in the future! LOL.

During its 168-day domestic theater run, it made $936,662,225, the best U.S. haul, (UNADJUSTED) in movie history. Worldwide, it pulled in $2.07 billion, putting it numerically, behind only Avatar ($2.78B) and Titanic ($2.18B).

BUT...

If you adjust for inflation and calculate the number of tickets sold, not how much money was spent on tickets, you'll see that this new Star Wars sits at 11th in all time tickets sold.
