SYFY Cancels HUNTERS, A Reminder - GRACELAND Was Cancelled Too, Fox TV Show: X-MEN

Well I guess I can wipe this show from my DVR!

Syfy, at this time is going to not order a second season of "Hunters" due to low ratings.

"The disappearance of a decorated FBI agent's wife leads him to a secret government unit assembled to hunt a group of ruthless terrorists - shadowy figures that may or may not be from this world. "

The series starred Nathan Phillips, Britne Oldford, Lewis Fitz-Gerald, Mark Coles Smith, Julian McMahon, Gareth Davies, Shannon Berry and Laura Gordon.

I started watching this show and I was struggling to give it a chance. The tone was a bit too dull, for lack of a better word. The background music always seemed like a death dirge. The bad guy, played by McMahon, was trying to act like some alien/human hybrid version of DC's The Joker. It just did not really grab me. Very few cast delivered believable characters that I wanted to care about.

And if the IMDb rating says much, rallying in at a 5.5/10, well, it wasn't grabbing anyone else either.

So I'll do what I always do with shows that get cancelled but are stockpiled in my DVR... delete all but the season finale, and watch that last episode for a proper farewell. And to tell you the truth, even that dragged out, and I guess they weren't clear they were getting canned, considering how they ended it.

This is just an oddball reminder, but "Graceland" was cancelled last year and is not returning.

I had actually forgotten that the show was cancelled but started noting the cast showing up in other things. It prompted me to look around and sure enough, it was cancelled. Pretty much about a month after its last season finale.

So this is just a reminder.

Variety is reporting that Fox Television has ordered up a pilot for an "X-Men" TV series. It will be from Matt Nix, the man behind "Burn Notice."  It will be a co-production between Fox and Marvel television, so it won't completely suck.

Pokemon Go - Hey, if you start playing around with this real world game, don't forget to look up, keep your eyes on the road or sidewalk or what have you. I'm seeing some sad and funny reports about how people are crashing into and over things because for some reason, they just aren't looking up.

LOOK UP!
