Today's news bits include

  • ABC's summer game shows,

-ABC has renewed their summer game shows, "Celebrity Family Feud," "Match Game" and "$100,000 Pyramid" for a return trip back for next summer.

-Jennifer Lopez will be having her own dance competition series on NBC, with the top dancer netting a $1M prize. Keep your eye out for "World of Dance," on NBC.

-Brace yourselves for parents to doll up and over-sugar their kids diets. "Toddlers and Tiaras" is returning for a new season of toddler abuse on TLC, premiering on August 24th.

-"From Dusk Till Dawn," season three, will air on El Rey Network on Tuesday, Sept. 6th.


SHOWS That Are Ending

"Black Sails" will be ending with its fourth and final season.

"Teen Wolf" will be in its final season on MTV when the sixth season returns.

"The Vampire Dairies" will be ending next season. (Catch what you can on Amazon.)

"Bates Motel" will be ending next season.

"Turn" will end when it's fourth season concludes.

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do the Time Warp Again” will air Thursday, Oct. 20 on Fox.


For the show that never happened:  Apparently the "Agents of SHIELD" spinoff series, "Marvel's Most Wanted," is off the books now and not happening.  I myself wasn't exactly agog about the prospect. But now people are wondering how or if SHIELD will write Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood's characters back into the show, considering the story arc they were involved in, included murdering a target. We'll see what happens.
