REBOOTS

The CW is looking to reboot Charmed. BUT...  the reboot will be taking place in the 70's. No more details have been set, but with this reboot taking place before the original series, it could have interesting content to deliver. Though also being a reboot taking place long before the original, it seems glib that the original cast members will have any part of it.

-

Generation KKK is a new series from A&E about four families who have a family member who is trying to get out of the ill-fated club.

-

CBS is trying to develop a reboot of The Honeymooners. It will be exec produced by Bob Kushell (The Muppets.)  Hmm.

RENEWALS and Other Noise

Big Freedia Bounces Back was renewed by Fuse for a sixth season.  (Yea, I asked that same question you are in your head, right now.)

-

Haters Back Off was renewed for a second season on Netflix.

-

There seems to be an effort for a How I Met Your Mother series, titled How I Met Your Father. But at the time being, no network is attached to the hopeful new show.

-

Rob & Chyna has been renewed by E! for a second season.

-

Shameless gets an eighth season on Showtime.

-

USA gave a renewal nod to Shooter for a second season. Despite being based off the movie of the same name, and originally thinking "where could they go with this one," they managed to make a pretty good story out of the premise.

-

A new series called Somewhere Between, is coming to ABC for the summer. It's about a woman who foresees her daughter's murder and no matter what she tries to do to avert the disaster, it seems her daughter continues on her ill-fated path to her demise. It will be a 10-episode series, based off a Korean television show.

It actually sounds interesting!
