WE tv Renews Mama June: From Hot to Not for 10 more episodes.

The marketing spin for this upcoming season is

Season two will follow “Mama June” as she tries to navigate life after a whirlwind year and losing a great deal of weight. She shocks everyone by turning the tables on her daughter Alana (former child pageant queen "Honey Boo Boo") and gets caught up with adult pageant-mania, eager to compete against the beautiful women who snubbed her before her weight loss. Yet it doesn't take long for June to realize that her weight was the least of her problems --as she now faces decisions that could tear her family apart.

You know... so they had a hit while June pursued her weight loss battle and won. But this seems to be grabbing at straws now.

Well, we'll see how it goes.

NBC is working on a Miami Vice reboot, from, of all people, Vin Diesel! Apparently he has a contract with Universal for some content and this, is the first thing he'll be spiting out.

-

Real Estate Wars will premiere on October 5th on Bravo, where it highlights the cut-throat world of the industry in Orange County, CA.

Rant: I'm going to guess they won't need to stretch the truth too much for this one. I was a real estate agent for several years and making that bottom line, the commission, really changes people.

I watched agents lie through their teeth while representing clients, lie through their teeth while doing market evaluations to get clients houses to sell, and, well, just lie through their teeth to snag properties at lower prices than market value from their clients and turn them around and resell them.

It was an ugly world and I did not do well in it because I was too honest. Literally.

And I won't even go into how freaking fickle clients can be about the stupidest things, while they pretend to be real estate experts and ignore the advice of the guys who know what they're talking about.

Next Season will be the last season for The Middle!

-

This is Us will have an interesting guest star, with Sylvester Stallone appearing as himself, as he appears opposite Justin Hartley's character.

-

It looks like NBC is renewing Will & Grace for a second season reboot, which will give it a 10-season run.

-

FX and Comcast/Xfinity are partnering up to launch FX+ on September 5th. It will cost $5.99 a month and will be  featuring commercial-free current seasons of every FX and FXX original series and every season of many current and legacy library titles of FX originals.

This also means access to older shows like Damages, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, The Shield, and Sons of Anarchy, just to name a few.  (Damages was pretty good. The rest of these shows speak for themselves.)

-

YouTube Red is kicking off a Karate Kid movie spin-off streaming series, called Cobra Kai, and guess what? Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, who apparently need jobs, will be reprising their roles.

"Thirty years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, a down-and-out Johnny Lawrence (Zabka) seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo, reigniting his rivalry with a now successful Daniel LaRusso (Macchio), who has been struggling to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of his mentor, Mr. Miyagi. The show is about two men addressing past demons and present frustrations the only way they know how: through karate."

So basically, some boys just never grew up after getting their asses kicked!
