TV NEWS: 9-1-1, "Grey's Anatomy" spinoff, "Roswell," "The Walking Dead" and Much More..

9-1-1 on FOX

9-1-1 got a second season renewal nod from FOX already. (It's not a bad show at all, even if Angela Bassett seems a little too over-the-top for me. It's nice to see Peter Krause have a new role that is quite different from his Parenthood role. It's always good to see Connie Britton in a good show.)

The Grey's Anatomy spinoff series will be titled Station 19! The spinoff will follow Dr Ben Warren (Jason George) in his new life as a firefighter.  The 10-episode season will premiere with a two-hour series premiere on Thursday, March 22...  oh! SPOIL-ER!!!  Crumbs, too late.

A Roswell Reboot is headed for the CW. Yea, reboot... and they haven't given it a title yet...
"After reluctantly returning to her tourist-trap hometown of Roswell, New Mexico, the daughter of undocumented immigrants discovers a shocking truth about her teenage crush who is now a police officer: he’s an alien who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden his entire life. She protects his secret as the two reconnect and begin to investigate his origins, but when a violent attack and long-standing government cover-up point to a greater alien presence on Earth, the politics of fear and hatred threaten to expose him and destroy their deepening romance."

The Walking Dead was renewed for a ninth season Season by AMC. I guess that answers the question about if Robert Kirkman would be taking the show with him to Amazon, where he's moving his production house to. Though, to be honest, if this next season is anything like the last, I'm out of here. They did almost nothing but mail it in. The script that is.
