First NBC yanks Sean Saves the World from your TV schedule and now they've gone and pulled the Michael J. Fox Show from the schedule too.

Now NBC has not officially said the show is cancelled, and they still have a few episodes to air, but for the time being, the ratings were so poor that they pulled it.  I can't imagine though that a show that's poorly rated ends up not being cancelled.

NBC says (of course) that the show is creatively, a good show.

But ratings are ratings.

It was a bold move to have Michael come back and prove that he can work, despite his condition.  And it's actually surprising they did cancel the show. I was expecting them to pander a bit more to Michael, but business is business.

And it was cool to see Michael get back into the flow of working.  Kudos Mike, kudos!
