I don't know about you, but every now and then I hear a song on TV... sometimes it's in a show, sometimes it's in an ad, and it captures my imagination.
-In this case, one of Citibank's (not Citi Bank, as I've found out) most recent TV commercials, where the woman (Katie Brown) is climbing a ridiculous looking rock... (Ancient Arts rock formation, which is about 16 miles from Moab, Utah) something that I would need a helicopter to get to. But the music in the background gets my household rather enthused. We like the verse that's played upon the woman achieving her victory. (My gott! Hang on to something up there!!!)
Looking around, I found the song on YouTube. It's called "Into The Wild" and is sung by L.P..
-Mission accomplished... sort of. Except I can't seem to find this song on Amazon! I'm finding other work by L.P., but nothing titled "Into the Wild."
So for now, we have this video, and the Citibank TV commercial to go with... and now, I hope. I wait, because I'd love to have this MP3 Download from Amazon! <( That link will take you to what a search I did on Amazon netted me.)
BTW: Check out this great must-watch video of the CNN piece about the girl and the rock she's climbing in Utah. (I apologize for the dramatization of the News Drama the woman reporter is trying to portray... Can't blame them... they're trying to make TV ratings, and it gets sort of cute near the end, so I am willing to overlook some of the silliness.)
Hey, if there's anything you want me to hunt down for you, just leave a comment/question here! This internet sleuth from Cinema Static will be glad to try and figure it out!
UPDATE: It seems that Warner Bros music is giving the song away for free... I've scanned the download that I got from the site and there's no viruses (Norton, latest virus definitions.)
