- American Idol contestant Jermaine Jones will be leaving the Wednesday night telecast because he's been disqualified from the singing competition.
It turns out that the big guy has a few legal issue things in his background that he didn't fess up to, to Fox.
He had a few legal problems back in 2011. He used fake names during the police processes and it would seem he also has outstanding warrants.
I'm really bummed for Jermaine. I didn't think he'd win, but it seemed like such a nice fantasy story that he was getting a second chance as a wildcard 2nd chance.
I bet the American Idol judges will be disappointed because they could have brought someone else back who could have had a run at the title.
