'Face Off' Ep 209 Dinosaur Recap fr 3-7-12: Who Moves On?

In last night's Face Off on Syfy, our artists were faced with combining humans with dinosaurs...  and there were only five artists left and the judges announced that this episode will be a double elimination, leaving three to move on the second season finale of Face Off.

The problem at this stage of the show, the penultimate episode of season two of Face Off, is that everyone at this point is pretty good, and as the eliminated contestants were told, DO NOT take this as a dig against you, because to have gotten this far, you have talent.

The gang was dragged off to the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles and were told to pick a dinosaur and go to town.

Sue went with a brightly colored lizard, RJ snagged a velociraptor; Matt picked an obscure thing with small horns; a carnotaurus; Rayce had a sleestack looking product based on a corythosaurus; and Ian went with a triceratops to mold onto his human.

Each artist pretty much did a great job, but of course, there can be only three for the finals.

Rayce had issues with latex and started second guessing himself.

RJ called his contraption a velociraptor rapper.  But then he started freaking out that it was too hokey of a name and was considering starting over on day two.  And he was bemoaning having to go home on his birthday.

Sue used a colorful little dinosaur and called it cool girl.

In the end, Rayce had the best judged design, followed by Ian's triceratops combo and RJ's rapper creation got him into the finals.

I cannot wait to see what's in store for the season finale of Face Off!
