'Justified' Fans Get Happy, FX Renews For Season Four

For every Timothy Olyphant fan out there who just loves their weekly dose of the star in FX's hit series, Justified, you just got some great news in regards to the show.

Justified has been renewed by FX for a fourth season!

The fourth season has a 13-episode order and will continue the tale of Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens, played by Timothy Olyphant.

Just through the first seven weeks of this present season, Justified is averaging 4+ million viewers per episode.  The stats for a weekly run show around 7 million viewers.

Too bad Comcast holds out and doesn't put the newest episode on until seven days after it airs.  I bet that would help weekly numbers immensely!  But it is what it is and fans will take their weekly dose of Justified any way they can get it!

At least that's what I've heard.

This season of Justified has been pretty fun.  With the introduction of Neal McDonough (playing Robert Quarles) as one of new bad guys with his slick moves and cut-throat approach, he's one to be reckoned with, that's for sure.  Plus I've always enjoyed Neal's work, no matter who he plays.

We also have other new bad blood in the form of Mykelti Williamson (playing Ellstin Limehouse), comes of as pretty scary, smooth, and for some reason, exudes bad news, even when he's being polite.

Of course Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) is getting in everyone's hair and I suspect the reason the previews for the show, protray both Crowder and Givens running down the street, shooting together at unseen targets is because they end up both having a common enemy.

Either way producers Gary Lennon (The Shield), Timothy Olyphant (Yep... Timothy is producing) et. al, are doing an awesome job with the series and novelist Elmore Leonard and Graham Yost (Falling Skies, The Pacific) are cranking out great scripts!

I can't wait to see where this season goes and what they'll do next season, the fourth season of Justified on FX!
