Katie talks to people whose close encounters with death have brought them into contact with God and the afterlife, including the author of To Heaven and Back, Mary Neal.  Also, hear the incredible stories that have inspired faith and changed lives as Katie welcomes artist Akiane Kramarik and others that will have you revisit the age-old question: is there life after death?

 

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9 – 1022

Katie puts the spotlight on celebrities who are famous for one thing, and extremely successful at another, as she sits down with former basketball great turned blockbuster businessman Magic Johnson, and super model turned super mogul, Kathy Ireland.

 

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 10 – 1023

Katie addresses how to protect your kids online, as she goes inside the minds of online predators to discover the shocking details of how and why they stalk kids.  Plus, hear the incredible story of a woman who did her own investigation, only to  discover her husband was targeting children on the internet.

 

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 11 – 1024

Katie welcomes Gretchen Rubin,  author of  The #1 New York Times bestseller, The Happiness Project  to discuss her follow-up book, Happier at Home, about setting out to make home a place of greater simplicity, comfort, and love. Katie will also be joined by happiness seekers who have started Happiness Projects and gives viewers a chance to devise a Happiness Project for themselves. Also, Harvard Business School professor Michael Norton and author of the upcoming book, Happy Money, asks: How much money do you need to be happy? As he shares fascinating research on why money can't buy happiness except when you spend it on other people.

 

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12 – 1025

Got the recession blues?  Katie Couric, along with experts, will teach viewers how to bring some extra cash into their households by becoming a mini-mogul from the comfort of their own living room. With 10.1 million women-owned businesses in the United States, Katie sits down with some of the stay-at-home moms who are turning a profit by using their special skills to bring in some extra cash.  And the good news is:  Anyone can do it!
