"KATIE" SHOW LISTINGS FOR WEEK OF OCTOBER 15, 2012

**Schedule is Subject to Change**

MONDAY, OCTOBER 15 – 1026

Katie is joined by ABC Correspondent Paula Faris, who shares her emotional prison interview with Hannah Overton, the Corpus Christi homemaker currently serving a life sentence without parole in a maximum security women's prison for the death of Andrew Burd. Burd was her four year-old foster son who died mysteriously as she and her husband, Larry, were in the process of adopting him in a rare case of salt poisoning.  Katie will be joined in-studio by Larry and their five children, ranging from ages five to thirteen, who have been living without their mother now for five years.  Prosecutors argue that this soft-spoken mother forced Andrew to eat 22 teaspoons of salt, but with no history of CPS, no previous arrests or history of violence, Hannah and her family have always maintained her innocence.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 16 – 1027

Model turned mogul Tyra Banks is always outspoken, whether she's dishing out tough love on America's Next Top Model or tweeting photos of her "muffin top." On Tuesday, she'll stop by to talk to Katie about the latest goings on in her busy life, plus she'll stay for a conversation about how and why, as a society, we are so harsh on one another. Katie's taken her share of hits over the years, and Tyra has been criticized for everything from her weight to her weaves. From mean-spirited Facebook commenters to snarky gossip tabloids, when did we morph into a culture that tolerates cruelty? Also part of this discussion will be Olympic athlete Lolo Jones and Wisconsin tv anchor Jennifer Livingston, who will share their experiences of being harshly scrutinized in the public eye.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17 – 1028

The day after the second Presidential debate, Bill O'Reilly, one of American's most opinionated men, joins Katie in-studio to talk about the state of the campaign and recap the previous evening's event. He'll also discuss his latest book—a closer look at Camelot and  tragic assassination of President John F. Kennedy. What does he think really happened the day Kennedy was shot? And how does he ultimately judge the man behind the myth?

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 18 – 1029

Tyler Perry is one of the most prolific and influential forces in entertainment today – not to mention one of Hollywood's highest earners. Katie sits down with him to talk about his latest film project, James Patterson's "Alex Cross" which is very different because while he does star in the movie, he is not its director, writer, or producer. Plus, Perry on his approach to philanthropy, his path to success, and what he learned from Oprah.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19 – 1030

More than 42 million Americans are caring for aging loved ones, including Katie who lost her father last year, and with her siblings cares for her 89 year-old mother.
