Rookie Blue has been renewed. That's cool, because it's a fun show.
ABC renewed Rookie Blue for another summer season, with 13 episodes in the order. The show stars Missy Peregrym, Gregory Smith, Enuka Okuma, Travis Milne, Charlotte Sullivan, Ben Bass, Melanie Nicholls-King, Noam Jenkins, Eric Johnson, and Peter Mooney.
Here's a curious question I had the other day: What town does Rookie Blue take place in?
Hint: It's a co-Canadian production!
Answer: I don't know but it ain't in the U.S.! The other night my wife and I were pondering what city it takes place in. There's no real identifier in the show. And all the locations that are called out are pretty generic.
I guess the generic locations are good for when the show is ordered by other countries. Then there's no location bias later on with viewers.

BTW: Anyone watching Motive? It's a pretty fun show. It starts out showing you the murder victim and the murderer.
The rest of the episode is putting together exactly how and why the murder came about.
I didn't think this could be pulled off, but the creative force behind the team does it pretty well to keep the story line fresh each week.
The show stars Kristin Lehman (The Killing) and Louis Ferreira (Stargate Universe).
