'Ender's Game' Final Movie Trailer (with Scenes Recycled From 'Knowing?')

The final trailer for Ender's Game came out on Aug 6th and it contains a lot of stuff in it.

OR at least, after having read the novel some months back, I can see a bunch of spoilers. But if you have not read it, stay away from the descriptions or reviews of the story.

It's a fantastic story, (if played out in the movie like the book), so keeping the surprises in check will make the movie a pleasure of an experience.

With that said, I must now present the latest, perceived, travesty of the movie trailer.

Folks are claiming that there's footage in the Ender's Game trailer that's recycled from the 2009 movie, Knowing. (Both Summit movies)

OK, so they're right. (See the second video below)

Do you have a problem with this? I'm fine with it. It's been done before when Michael Bay pulled some footage from The Island for a Transformers film.

I think the scene will work well for what it's intended for and one can just leave it at that, rather than making a huge whoo hoo about it!

Ender's Game comes out in theaters Nov 1, is directed by Gavin Hood (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Rendition) and stars Asa Butterfield and Harrison Ford.
