Oblivion (directed by Joseph Kosinski [Tron Legacy]) stars Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko, Andrea Riseborough, and Melissa Leo in a fascinating sci-fi tale of Earth, after we’ve “won” a brutal war with alien invaders.
Jack (Cruise) and Victoria (Riseborough) are assigned to maintain the equipment left on Earth to mine resources for the survivors who have moved to Titan.
Victoria is the command center operator and Jack scouts the surrounding territory, fixing equipment that needs fixing. All the while, they report back to Sally (Leo), their command center contact that’s up in orbit.
