'The Killing' Season Three Finale is Two Hours Long This Sunday

Hey gang, don't forget that this third season of The Killing is wrapping up the story this Sunday, August 4th on AMC, with a two-hour season finale!

I don't know about you, but executive producer Veena Sud has redeemed herself by sticking to the traditional single-season story wrap up that The Killing should have done the first time around with that two-season debacle that pissed people off.

I don't blame folks for not liking what they did with the first two seasons because the story should have wrapped in the first season and then the second season was nothing but a drab series of time filling episodes that did not put enough icing on that second season to help anyone forget about the trick AMC tried to pull over viewers eyes.

They should have stuck to the formula proven incredibly successful with the original Danish series this show was based on, Forbrydelsen
But this time around, they did it right... a crime and a story that will have an ending with the season finale.

And it's a great, dark and morbid tale this season has woven.

To date, I don't know about you, but I have a feeling (AND THIS IS A GUESS, not any inside info) that the real murderer that Linden (Mireille Enos) and Holder (Joel Kinnaman) are pursuing is one of the prison guards.  I'd be truly shocked if it was anyone else... but hey, I'd love to be surprised.
