It's Official, 'Breaking Bad' Spinoff Coming to AMC

The news hitting the street today is that everyone's lovable criminal lawyer, Saul, is getting his own spinoff!  Boom!

The show is tentatively titled "Better Call Saul," the same title from the episode of Breaking Bad that he first showed up in.

And before you say anything about a spinoff ruining the end of this last season of Breaking Bad, no worries folks.  The spinoff will be a prequel.

And that sounds like all kinds of fun.

I've been hearing this news for several months now, but when I went and tried to find it here on the site, it seems I may have only THOUGHT about writing about it!  (Head smack!)  Sometimes the chatter about things like this is only that, chatter.  I guess this time, it was good chatter!

Well, be it as it may, Bob Odenkirk will be in the starring role of course.

More details are to come once all the details are worked out between all parties concerned.

Believe it or not, he's had roles in over forty movies.  He also spent eight episodes on How I Met Your Mother along with spots and roles in over 60 other TV projects.  Dang...
