Catching Fire wins the Box Office

Damn, The Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire, premiered this weekend and made a huge foot print in the money drawers of the theaters this weekend. (movie review of Catching Fire)

The Catching Fire premiere dumped Thor The Dark World by pulling in a humungus $161M (estimated) at the box office.

That $161M makes this the best November box office take for any movie... ever.  Worldwide, it's pulled in $307M.

We can now look forward to the Mockingjay Pt 1 (Nov 2014) and Mockingjay Pt 2 (Nov 2015).

The rest of the top-10 movies at the box office include Thor the Dark World beating out The Best Man Holiday by a few million, then Delivery Man, and Free Birds round out the top-five.
