Ron Perlman in Sons of Anarchy - Recap of 'Aon Rud Persanta' (fr 11-19-13)

SPOILERS

Aon Rud Persanta: Nothing Personal.  And earlier in the day, Kurt Sutter said this episode is the beginning of the end.

-

In the Sons of Anarchy episode titled Aon Rud Persanta, we find that Jax is no longer letting Tara take the kids to daycare.  We then watch Jax finalizing his deals with delivering Galen to DA Patterson.

Nero and Gemma are realizing they need to get Wendy to rehab.  He also touches on if she could give Tara some space.  If she can... lighten the load on her.  Nah, Gemma ain't gonna do that.

-

Tara meets with her new lawyer
, and he tells her how he sees it and it's not optimal.

Jax and the boys meet with the Irish and plot Clay's breakout attempt from his transport.

Wayne and Gemma have a talk about the kids, Tara and the whole situation.  When Gemma asks Wayne why he's still around, he confesses his love for her.  Sheesh, this is not a surprise for any viewer, I don't think.

During the breakout, they get Clay, whose shocked that its Jax breaking him out.  But in the process, Bobby gets shot pretty bad.  Juice runs over the cop that shot him, killing him.

And while this breakout is taking place, all the cops that the DA had organized around the gun pickup point, hears about the breakout and now, it seems to appear as if the Irish played everyone.

At this point in the episode that is.

-

The club gets to a hangar to deliver Clay to Galen.  Tara is convinced to help, considering it's Bobby who is hurt.

As they deliver Clay to Galen, Jax puts a bullet through Galen's brain.

SHOCKER!  Or not.

And that was done by a club vote.  Oh, and one other vote was taken.  That one involved killing Clay.  Which Jax carries out.

TOTAL SHOCKER!!!

Clay Morrow is dead.  Dead!

And so now I have to wonder, was Jax jerking off the DA?  Did he set it up to make it all easier to take care of things?

But killing Galen could have some seriously huge ramifications.  This is the Irish.  The IRA.  I'm not sure this was the best move on SAMCROs part.

-

Jax asks Gemma if she's OK... she's either playing it real cool, or she really is OK.  And though Tara is shocked, she seems to also be playing it cool.  She even holds Jax's hand for a moment.

And Tara is totally cool with Clay being killed.  Clay had taken out a contract on her earlier, so this was poetic for her.

Then Patterson calls Tara, asking to meet her.

-

Over at the hangar, Connor shows up, and Jax tells him how it is... "the only truth he needs to know."  That Clay and Galen had words then differences with their guns.

Connor seems to agree, begrudgingly.  But agree.  This moves him up to the no. 1 spot in the west coast for the Irish.

-

Tara is headed to the hospital to get things for working on Bobby.  She leaves Nero and Gemma in the truck outside while she heads in.  (To meet Patterson)

Gemma and Nero are chatting, and Gemma suggests he can marry her, but she gets "No offense mama, but I see what happens to your husbands."

Is he telegraphing his desire to leave this "business" situation?  And her?

Patterson offers Tara her immunity for testimony, and it sounds like Tara may be doing this, offering the bullet she's going to pull out of Bobby as evidence of the gang being at the breakout.

-

Oh, and the DA got an anonymous tip on the crime scene in the hangar, with the guns.

We're back to Tara on the cusp of being an informant.  And I expect the Irish will be coming hard at the club, regardless of the tale woven by Jax.  But Patterson is hell bent to burn the club.  Her deal didn't involve dead bodies.
