The Vatican is the headquarters of the Catholic Church and the prime residence of the Pope.  Its history is full of captivating tales of virtue, venom and villains.  History explorer Don Wildman is on location in Rome to take a closer look at stories related to the Vatican including the stunning claims of a friar who supposedly bore the stigmata - the marks of Christ, a brazen papal escape from marauding invaders, and a legendary and controversial female pontiff.

In “Ghost Adventures: Aftershocks,” Zak Bagans invites the most memorable characters from the series back to Las Vegas to update viewers on how their lives – and their ghosts – have fared since “Ghost Adventures” paid them a visit. The guests recount how things were before the lockdown – and how their lives have changed since.  Have ghosts returned to do these people harm? Has their approach to the spirits changed? What questions are still left unanswered that the guys might help them solve? The Holy Land is one of the most treasured regions on the planet.  Around every corner, ancient tales of myth and miracles are waiting to be uncovered.  History explorer Don Wildman is on location in Israel to take a closer look at a stunning mountaintop fortress, which is said to be the site of the most shocking showdowns of the ancient.  He then examines the room of the last supper, where legend has it a relic was born that would entice treasure hunters for centuries to come.  Wildman also walks through the famed Garden of Gethsemane to shed stunning new light on Christ’s betrayer, Judas.

In season four of “Hotel Impossible,” Melchiorri’s management skills, emotions and patience are put to the test once again. Melchiorri first evaluates each property and identifies its most significant problems. Armed with a design team to help with some much-needed renovations, Melchiorri makes critical changes that may include getting a stubborn owner with no business sense to listen or getting a lazy staff to step it up. Utilizing special experts, hidden cameras, gadgets and technology that test, evaluate and measure different aspects of the hotel, it won’t always be pretty and it will never be easy, but Melchiorri pushes these owners to get it right. They then begin a dusk-to-dawn “lockdown” investigation, using the latest scientific gadgets and technology in an effort to obtain physical evidence of the paranormal and uncover the truth behind each haunted mystery. Locations featured in season nine include a special investigation of Bannack, MT – a lawless, Old West mining-turned-ghost-town; New York City’s Morris-Jumel Mansion; Katie’s Bar in Long Island, NY; the Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville, LA; a former cement factory with a dark past in Salt Lake City, UT and more.
