Hitman: Agent 47 is about "An assassin teams up with a woman to help her find her father and uncover the mysteries of her ancestry." Additionally, the film will fill in some of the details why Rupert Friend's genetically engineered assassin rejects his programming to uncover his true origins.
The cast includes Zachary Quinto, Rupert Friend (Agent 47), Ciaran Hinds, Thomas Kretschmann, Hannah Ware.
The film is directed by Aleksander Bach whose resume includes... well, absolutely nothing. But the screenplay is written by Michael Finch & Skip Woods. Finch's experience includes The November Man and Predators, while Woods resume includes The A-Team, X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
The film is due out on August 21, 2015.
The trailer looks pretty cool, but I would hate it if all the cool stuff was packed into the trailer.
