Casting News for GOTHAM, ARROW, HORROR STORY

Here's some casting news for the upcoming seasons of Gotham, Arrow and American Horror Story:

-

Gotham

Michael Chiklis joins the cast of Gotham

Michael Chiklis will be joining the cast of Gotham and assuming the role of Gotham City Police Capt. Nathaniel Barnes, who seems to be on the hunt of getting rid of the “dead wood” in the department.

His description is of a man who is not afraid of making enemies, while becoming an ally to Gordon (Ben McKenzie). Yet, he's fully capable of being a powerful enemy.

Zoinks.

Chiklis was on The Shield, No Ordinary Family, Vegas, and the most recent season of American Horror Story. He also had a small role in two episodes of the final season of Sons of Anarchy. (Was that a rough final season of SOA or what?)

Gotham is returning on Fox for its second season, on Monday, September 21st.

(To be honest, I hated the premise of all the children versions of the classic Batman bad guys and good guys, but the writing saves this show and tells a fantastic tale of Jim Gordon's fight to clean up the corrupt city of crime and criminal cops, all while watching Bruce Wayne grow up.)

Arrow

Casting news for Arrow

Jimmy Akingbola has landed the recurring role of Baron Blitzkrieg in the upcoming fourth season of Arrow. Recurring, as in, showing up in flashbacks.

Arrow is really cranking up the cast. Akingbola joins new cast members Neal McDonough, playing Damien Darhk, Alexander Calvert as Lonnie Machin/Anarky and Echo Kellum who plays a good guy, Mister Terrific. (I wonder if his super power is ego???)

Arrow returns for its fourth season on Oct. 7th on The CW, where we will see Oliver finally become "The Green Arrow."

American Horror Story

Lily Rabe joins season four of AMERICAN HORROR STORY

Entertainment Weekly is reporting (their exclusive) that Lily Rabe (The Whispers) is sitting down at the table to talk with FX about playing a serial killer on American Horror Story: Hotel.

If you've been watching the show, you know she's had a role in all of the previous three seasons of this creep factor series!

I've been watching Rabe in The Whispers on ABC. It's not a bad show that even borders on creepy at times, considering how "Drill" uses children to accomplish his goals.
