Vampire Diaries panel explained that they will explain how Mystic Falls got into that terrible state of post-apocalyptic condition we saw in last season's finale. Enzo will have to make a decision: Go with the good guys or the bad guys. (The six heretics that were released by the Salvatore mama.

There will be three new villains/ladies.

Damon will be dealing with living life without Elena. Or, as Somerhalder put it, it's the old Damon everyone enjoyed in the early seasons of Vampire Diaries.

Supergirl Gets PETER FACINELLI.

Via press release:

THE TWILIGHT SAGA’s PETER FACINELLI JOINS THE CAST OF SUPERGIRL IN RECURRING ROLE OF MAXWELL LORD

Highly Anticipated New Series Debuts Monday, October 26, on CBS

BURBANK, Calif. — Peter Facinelli (The Twilight Saga, Nurse Jackie) is moving to National City, joining the cast of the highly anticipated upcoming CBS/Warner Bros. Television action/drama series Supergirl in the recurring role of DC Comics character Maxwell Lord.

The announcement was made at Comic-Con 2015 during the Supergirl portion of the three-hour Warner Bros. Television Presents A Night of DC Entertainment special event in Hall H on Saturday, July 11.

Sometimes a villain, sometimes a hero, Maxwell Lord has a storied past with the DC Comics Universe as a powerful business man involved with the Justice League. On Supergirl, Maxwell is a green tech billionaire who enjoys a friendly rivalry with Cat Grant and a fascination with National City’s newest arrival — Supergirl.

Person of Interest

The old machine will get a rebuild, making it better, maybe making it a better warrior.

The team will be focused on survival and striking back at Samaritan.

The crowds were teased that we have not seen the last of Shaw. (But that could mean anything.)

Showrunners are preparing this upcoming shorter season as if it is the franchise's last... just in case. Then again, when a network cuts your season order down to 13 episodes, well, someone is writing something on the wall. Right?
