DOCTOR WHO to the Big Screen?

Doctor Who On The Big Screen movie theater

BBC Is Putting Doctor Who On The Big Screen

It would seem that BBC and Fathom Events believe they may have a good thing with the idea of bringing Doctor Who to the movie theater screening world.

I've seen TV shows try this before, but not with much success, but Fathom has been doing these little quirky things and considering they keep happening, it must be success enough with these ideas.

With that in mind, BBS and Fathom announced that they will be having a special screening of the Doctor Who Season 8 two-part finale “Dark Water” and “Death in Heaven” on September 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m (local times) in Real3D in 700 theaters across the United States.

Wow.

Plus there will be prequel bits for some aspects of the upcoming season 9, and as if that is not enough for the big screen, fans will also get to watch Wil Wheaton interview Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman.

Tickets became available on July 31 at { http://www.fathomevents.com/ }.

Season 9 of Doctor Who returns to BBCA on September 19.
