THE EXPANSE Renewed, xXx, Carrie Fisher

First up, The Expanse is doing so well across the board (online, TV, DVR, etc.) that Syfy has already announced renewing the series for a second season.

I've been watching the show and loving it because I can't get enough of it with each episode watched. I loved the book series. IN fact the story was so good that I found myself actually paying "full price" for the Kindle book series.

Though the Syfy TV series has changed up a few details of events and characters, they're basically hitting the major points of the story.

I think the series is doing the book series justice. So far.

See the press release at the bottom of the piece here for more details.

Carrie Fisher Getting Trashed for Body Image

Some folks, like the "body shaming" Twitter trolls, seem a bit...  dim-witted. Apparently folks feel that after being in the original Star Wars film thirty years ago, that Carrie has let herself go and looks "fucking old."

And like I've always said, sometimes the citizens of the web are more short-sighted and reactionary than most. In this case, apparently the 59-year-old actress just doesn't look good enough to represent her character in Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the daring and faceless trolls of the web.

LOL...

As far as I'm concerned, I saw her as how she has aged and nothing more. She's taken good care of herself over the years. Oh, and to think, she did go on a crash diet for the movie.

Get a grip folks... your life will go on, no matter how Carrie might look.

It's not like she became a guy with seller's remorse, saying he sold his franchise to the "White slavers." Dude, you couldn't carry the franchise with your last three "ideas," so watching the franchise take off going back to its roots, well, deal buddy, deal. You're so bloody rich from your sale, why would it matter to you?

Just saying.

Did you know there's a third xXx sequel coming?

Well, third film... it's technically a second sequel.  But yep... The tentative title of the sequel will be focused on Vin Diesel's character, titled, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.

So far cast for the sequel includes Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role of NSA Agent Augustus Gibbons, UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor, along with Tony Jaa, Jet Li and Deepika Padukone.

This could bring the magic back to the film series that the first sequel lost.

PS: WHAT movie is he not in these days?  (Asking about Samuel L. Jackson.)

Here's that PR I promised you earlier:
