AMERICAN HORROR STORY Time Traveling, GAME OF THRONES Final Season, SUPERGIRL Keeps Flockhart

"American Horror Story"

The upcoming sixth season of "American Horror Story" will be predominately taking place in the present, but there will be a little reflection on past deeds of history, as they present to you their version of the disappearance of the Roanoke Colony back in the late 16th century.

The colonists all just up and disappeared from the village and no one has ever been able to determine if they just moved somewhere else or if something mysterious occurred to them!

Cast returning for season six of "AHS" includes Lady Gaga... so far.

"Game of Thrones"

Well, sooner or later it was bound to happen, but I'm not sure we were ready for it this soon.

It's been announced (sort of) that the eighth season of "Game of Thrones" will be its final season. (probably)

That gives us two more seasons to enjoy the story, where the book has come to the small screen.

So we have the upcoming seventh (delayed) season, (Filming has been delayed due to weather), and the next, the eighth season.

But...

After that first announcement, it's been said that HBO spokespersons have been saying that 8 has been confirmed, but whether it's the last season or not is another matter altogether.

Huh.

"Supergirl"

IN what I consider to be some of the best news for the series, reports have stated that Calista Flockhart will be returning to the second season of "Supergirl," starring as Cat Grant.

She will be appearing as a recurring guest star.

I'm glad this is happening, because quite literally, she makes the show. She gives it the edge the show needs. She's less the bad guy and more the stern and disapproving sister, so to speak to Supergirl.

I'm sure they would have limped along, but I would have missed her. At least now, I won't be totally left out in the cold.

"Supergirl" season two premieres October 10th on The CW.
