Reboots, Cancelled and Renewed Shows - The Lastest List, Norman Reedus News, And A Few Other Goodies

Mary Elizabeth Winstead has joined the upcoming third season of FX's drama Fargo.  If you haven't checked out Fargo, it's actually pretty good. It's quirky, weird and yet done well to the point that makes it pretty engaging.

Matt LeBlanc has been tapped to host the new Top Gear series, but those of you who watch the show knew that. But he's been tapped to host for two more seasons of the show.

Not a renewal, but NBC has ordered more Superstore episodes, giving it a 22-ep season.

NBC has renewed Better Late Than Never for a second season.

Canned:

Showtime has cancelled Roadies. So there will be no second season of the show.

Reboots:

It looks like ABC is pondering the idea of a revival of Magnum PI. I mean if you think about it, Fox is tackling Lethal Weapon and The Exorcist, CBS - MacGyver... so why not toss your hat into the unoriginal bin with a new Magnum PI? Sure, why not!!!??? It requires very little imagination to tap a title that will catch some older demographic viewers and hopefully gel with the younger, money-spending demo.

Aaand not to be outdone, CBS is working on a S.W.A.T. reboot. It has an interesting creative team behind it, with it being executive produced by Justin Lin (Fast & Furious),  Shawn Ryan (The Shield), Neal H. Moritz (Preacher) and Aaron Rahsaan Thomas (Sleepy Hollow). So it really might not suck. I mean, what the heck, let's toss another shoot-em-up TV show at us.
