AT&T is buying Time Warner. They'll be dropping just over $85 billion on the deal. Why is that important to you? Because in this deal, AT&T will be getting HBO, TBS, WB, Cinemax, The CW, Cartoon Network, CNN, & TNT.  That's why.

As a distant reminder, Syfy's Face Off is returning for its eleventh season on Tuesday, January 24th. If you haven't seen the show, you should give it a once over for a few episodes. Despite the dramatic angles, it's an awesome inside look at the talents of special effects artists.

Married at First Sight was renewed by FYI for a fifth season. The premise of the show is that two single people are married, on the spot, the moment they meet and then several weeks later, are given the chance to stay together or kill each... Even though they haven't cancelled it yet, ABC cut their episode order for Notorious down to a ten-ep run. I checked out the show when it premiered because I like the two lead actors, but it was just too much action-drama-sex that was nothing new to shake a stick at.  The fact that ABC has cut the ep order is probably a good indication we won't be seeing a second season of the show.

When Notorious comes to a close, Scandal will kick it in gear in its place.

The CW recently announced that they've renewed their summer shows for the upcoming summer TV season. They include...

Whose Line is it Anyway?,

Masters of Illusion &

Penn & Teller: Fool Us.

A&E docuseries, The Killing Season, premieres on November 12th. The show is about a serial killer who killed ten sex workers in Long Island. The killer is still at large.
