TV News for 1-18-17: FARGO, FULLER HOUSE, KILLING BIGFOOT, +2 more

The third season of Fargo, a very fun, gritty and excellent show, has a cast that's growing as we speak. So far, they have Ewan McGregor, Carrie Coon and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. They've also added David Thewlis, Michael Stulhbarg and Jim Gaffigan to the cast.

Fuller House was given a third season by Netflix.

Blunt Talk was cancelled by Starz after only two seasons.

Escaping the KKK, a show that WAS coming from A&E, found itself cancelled before it even aired.  Turns out that instead of a documentary, A&E had learned some cash was changing hands so some folks could be on the show. Oops. Are we surprised?  A&E said,

“While we stand behind the intent of the series and the seriousness of the content, these payments are a direct violation of A&E’s policies and practices for a documentary.  We had previously provided assurances to the public and to our core partners - including the Anti-Defamation League and Color of Change - that no payment was made to hate group members, and we believed that to be the case at the time.  We have now decided not to move forward with airing this project.”

The idiotic series, Killing Bigfoot, premieres on Destination America on Feb 4th.  They'll be on the hunt for Bigfoot with the Gulf Coast Bigfoot Research Organization.  To be honest, these groups were well intended but buckled to a quick buck and they tend to produce nothing but glorified bullshit these days. I watched one episode where they went to a location of a sighting that took place 10 years ago. The team camped out in the area and GUESS WHAT? They heard or saw mysterious activity that night around their camp. Give me a break!

In some sad news, one of the cast members of MTV's 16 and Pregnant, Valerie Fairman, died of a drug overdose recently. She was 23.
