Good news for the Mystery Science Theater 3000 fans, and that is that Netflix has renewed MST3K for its 12th season overall and the second season on Netflix. If you were watching the MST3K marathon on YouTube you already saw this announcement.
But for those of you who didn't see it, well, Netflix liked their 11th season of MST3K.
The 12th season of the series was announced but no exact premiere date was announced except for the promise that the new season would land in the "not too distant future."

If you recall, back in 2015 MST3K and Shout! got together and started a crowd source funding project on Kickstarter, with hopes with just enough money to make a few episodes.
But what hapened surprised everyone when the Kickstarter campaign rose $5M.
