'Burn Notice:' Who was Freddy Figueredo?

At the end of the series finale of Burn Notice, there was a memorial note after the closing scene,

Freddy Figueredo
1952 - 2013
Thanks for taking care of us

Freddy Figueredo, it turns out, was the "Set Medic" for Burn Notice up until and including the 2012 season episodes.  He was also the set medic on several other productions.

Those other productions included The Sopranos, and movies like Bachelor Party 2, Reno 911, Bad Boys II and a few more.

He was also a fire fighter.

Despite his flair for life and all the good he's done for the world, he was still not immune from the evils of cancer.

He passed away on August 15th, 2013, losing his battle with colon cancer.

Thank you for all you've done for everyone Freddy.  May your soul rest in peace now.

  13. I re-watched the show and finished it 5 minutes ago i had forgotten how emotional the last episodes were especially the last one. Final episode had me tearing up when
Michael got the call from Mandolin telling him that she was going to sacrifice herself to save Jesse and Charlie.

  14. If the folks involved in Burn Notice loved and appreciated Freddy then so do we their fans. Even years later here I am, sending up a prayer for the grace and comfort only God can bring to abide with all those who were touched by Freddy Figueredo.
