'Being Human' Ending on Syfy

Sam Huntington, Katharine Isabelle and Sam Witwer in Being Human (series finale news)

Call me slow but in a presser I just got in my inbox, I just noticed that this fourth season of Being Human on Syfy, is its last... and it's series finale is coming up in April.

Despite how this show echoed the original at first, they veered off just enough to make it more interesting or at least interesting enough to keep wanting to watch.

The original series they based this series off of was pretty good at first, but as the story elements went in directions they could not come back from, things changed, and did not change for the better.  Even though they tried.

This season, I loved where they went with Josh, and how the addition of Nora, from so long ago, worked well into the story.

I think via Being Human, many folks were introduced to what some have called "the hotness" of Sam Witwer, the delicious Meachan Rath, the smooth Sam Huntington and the sexy Kristen Hager. Plus a bevy of other hot acting talent, like Aiden's first wife!!!

But there is only so much one can do with a story of this caliber, and I'm glad they are heading out under their own accord and able to finish this story of the most unlikely set of roommates you'll ever see.

So with that said, check out the press release and farewell video below

Hi, Friends -

With the second half of “Being Human’s” 4th season set to kick off, our human-at-heart characters are about to embark on a journey full of  twists, turns and surprises that will culminate in a spectacular series finale on Syfy, Monday, April 7th.

Showrunner Anna Fricke and the talented producers, writers, cast and crew have done an amazing job bringing this show to life over the past four seasons and we sincerely thank them and the series’ production company Muse Entertainment for their hard work. They’ve saved the best for last with the final six episodes that revisit the story’s beginning, leading to a not-to-be-missed send-off for Aidan, Sally, Josh and Nora.
