BIG ASS SPIDER Is Coming To Syfy

Some time back I was seeing news of a movie that had a giant spider attacking people.  That movie is now becoming a TV movie and coming to Syfy! It's called Big Ass Spider. (Awesome name).  The movie stars Greg Grunberg, Ray Wise and will be premiering on April 19th, 2014.

Man, I don't think this will do much for anyone with arachnophobia.

Look out, Los Angeles – one big ass spider is coming your way. Continuing its tradition of presenting the best of cult classic movies, Syfy will premiere Big Ass Spider! on Saturday, April 19 at 9PM (ET/PT).

In Big Ass Spider!, starring Greg Grunberg (Heroes, Alias), a giant alien spider escapes from a military lab and terrorizes Los Angeles. When a massive military strike fails, it is up to a team of scientists – and one clever exterminator – to kill the creature before the city is destroyed. The movie also stars Ray Wise, Clare Kramer, Lin Shaye and Lombardo Boyar. The movie is a production of Epic Pictures.

Big Ass Spider! has been nominated for a 2014 Saturn Award (Best DVD Release). The Saturn Awards, from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, honors the top works in science fiction, fantasy and horror in film, television and home video.
