THE AVENGERS Honest Trailer

Scarlett Johansson in The Avengers, a look at their Honest Trailer

We still have a while to go before The Avengers: Age of Ultron comes to theaters.  At present, it's due out on May 1st, 2015.  So just under a year away.  But while biding our time, we have to chat and dream.  (And watch The Blacklist, enjoying James Spader portrayal of Reddington.)

The other day I pointed you to a great "Honest Trailer" by Screen Junkies that trashed (in fun, as always) on the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy. The same trilogy that had more tickets sold than the recent reboot.  I also pointed out how funny these trailers are, unless they start trashing on a film you really like...  like, um, The Avengers.

I remember the first time I saw this clip, I was confused.  Confused meaning, I think I was getting upset, but didn't care since I liked the film so much.  But seeing it again, in the right light, it does seem to be pretty funny.  OK, mostly funny, with great quotes like,

"Joss Whedon, GOD of the NERDS,"

The movie that "Put all of DC Comics on Suicide watch,"  (That's not only true, but now DC has to pretend to do it differently, in how they present their world, and hope it works.)

Calling SHIELD the "Bluetooth obsesses government agency," (Hey, we all have to communicate somehow)

And pointing out The Avengers invisible comm links... "How are they all even talking to each other without ear pieces?"

So have some fun and enjoy this Honest Trailer
