In case you didn't notice, CBS and DISH reached an agreement for carriage fees for CBS owned stations across the country. Of course the terms were not disclosed, but I'm betting they were steep, considering who it was (CBS.).

The CBS press bit went on to say...

“We are pleased we have reached a deal with DISH, who recognizes the value that the number one Network brings to viewers in these markets. DISH customers will continue to get CBS’ must-have content, while we are also able to achieve our short and long-term economic and strategic goals.”

Ink Masters: Angels got a second season nod from Paramount Network.

Jersey Shore is getting revived by MTV

Mindhunter got a second season nod from Netflix

Mystery Science Theater 3000 was renewed for a second season by Netflix!

SWAT and Apt. 9JKL must be doing well on CBS. The network has ordered additional episodes for both.

The Good Place was renewed for a third season by NBC.

Josh Groban will be headlining CBS annual A Home for the Holidays

Nicollette Sheridan has landed the role of Alexis Carrington on The CW’s Dynasty reboot.

Seth Meyers will be hosting the Golden Globe Awards on January 7th.

Nashville is ending on CMT, with season six being its last.

Wisdom of the Crowd was cancelled by CBS, officially, because of ratings. Though, we are probably not going to let it go unnoticed that its star, Jeremy Piven, found himself under fire for alleged sexual misconduct with show extras on HBOs Entourage. Just saying.

Jeffrey Tambor has quit the Amazon show, Transparent. Apparently he wasn't quite that transparent, considering the alleged sexual misconduct reports.

Charlie Rose was suspended from CBS, PBS and Bloomberg after no less than eleven women have come forth with complaints about his making unwanted sexual advances towards them.

The Four: Battle for Stardom premieres on Fox on January 4th.
The four panel judges will Sean “Diddy” Combs, DJ Khaled, Meghan Trainor and Charlie Walk.
