Netflix renewed House of Cards for a fifth season, but the showrunner who has been with running things has left. Huh.

Tom Welling is coming back to TV, but not as Clark Kent...

OMG, the media is twisting it all up now that Supergirl is out there, but according to a great, in-depth article on Tom, he will be appearing in a new TV show called The Choice.

And another one, called Section 13.

But all this media hype about if he's coming to Supergirl is just hype, conjecture and traffic snagging titles.

Though his new stuff will air on CBS, he is pretty close to the source of show.

The New Celebrity Apprentice Cast

The show has a new host:  Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The boardroom will be manned by:

Billionaire Warren Buffett,
former Microsoft owner and LA Clippers owner Steve Ballmer,
Tyra Banks,
Jessica Alba and
Schwarzenegger’s nephew, attorney Patrick Schwarzenegger

The setting will be will in Silicon Beach on LA’s West side.

Brace Yourself For More Disappointing SUPER BOWL Ads This Year

Well, it's that time of year again, when the Super Bowl will dominate the airwaves for the next week or so and along with it, will be the television ads that will accompany the football game.

The ads that play during and around the Super Bowl have to date, acquired quite the reputation for being big and entertaining ads.

And in the day, when Budweiser could or did use "too cute" frogs, horses and scantily clad beer drinkers, it was true. The ads were fantastic.

But now-a-days, there's been so much damn hype about these fantastic ads that cost between $8 and $9 million per minute, (not counting production costs), that we come to expect big things. Hell there are now ads pumping up the ads and YouTube channels that will populate with the ads prior to or after they air.

But to be honest, most of the ads these days are pretty damn boring. Or maybe the hype has set them up to feel pretty boring, because most of them don't live up to the hype any more.

What comes to mind in recent years is "Darth Vader Kid" and Budweiser's Clydesdale horses. Yea, the same horses that the fairly new owners are scaling back on using in promotional material.

But with the advent of the perceived popularity of Super Bowl TV ads, we've seen this new trend where advertisers have now fallen into three categories of adverts:

- Those who release their ads before the game;

- Those who have teasers for their ads during the game;

- Those who keep it all under wraps until the ad airs during the game.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY Tackles The Slender Man (Only A Rumor)

1/28/16:  You've heard the rumors and news about stupid people pursuing The Slender Man, right? In case you haven't, per Wikipedia:

"The Slender Man (also known as Slenderman) is a fictional supernatural character that originated as an Internet meme created by Something Awful forums user Eric Knudsen (a.k.a. "Victor Surge") in 2009. It is depicted as resembling a thin, unnaturally tall man with a blank and usually featureless face, wearing a black suit.

Stories of the Slender Man commonly feature him stalking, abducting or traumatizing people, particularly children.

It or he originated out of a Photoshop contest. And yet the entity has captured the imagination of many online surfers and seems to now be considered common digital folklore. And sad folklore as a few assaults and suicides have been credited to children being told to do things by this entity.

Be it as it may, rumors are surfacing that FX's American Horror Story will be focusing on this creature in its upcoming season, which, as far as I can tell, will only give it more credence in the (feeble) minds of some, while adding an entirely new layer of fright for others.

Obviously, there will be more to follow as details, casting and other tidbits become available from FX.

1/29/16: Apparently it was just some baseless rumor, much like the Slender Man himself.

FX announced in a round about fashion that they'll be pursuing another story line that has been hinted at in previous seasons. In other words, sticking to their game plan that has been working so well for them so far.

New details about the upcoming season will be coming out in March. So until then, buckle up, rewatch all five seasons to see if you can find a clue, and hear what they have to say when March gets here.

I've Seen The X-FILES Reboot, And It's Glorious

I've now seen the first two X-Files reboot episodes. OK, reboot isn't the correct word, considering they have picked up with the same characters, after all these years. But if you loved the show, right up to the end, then you know it's a glorious day indeed.

It's like the show was never gone because it has all the same vibe and feeling as it used to. And it's nice to see that they did nothing to the opening of the show... they left well enough alone and went with it. You have to admire that bold move.

Yet there are some flaws with the show so far that I now suddenly remember while I watch the new episodes.

First is how Mulder would cut his calls short on Scully and never tell her where he's going. You'd think he might have changed his ways after all these years.  Or not. Or that Scully would give up asking him what he's doing or where he's going.  It's like an abusive relationship where he's always hanging up on her and she keeps engaging or encouraging him!  Or his inflamed since of chasing the truth, rekindling the same old set of plot elements that I think helped doom the show way back when it first retired.

I do think we need to move on with something new to keep our attention or this new continuation will find the same fate as the old show.

Plus I caught a few good flaws in the second episode where they did NOT do their research!

-When law enforcement enters a DOD controlled space, they would have had to go through channels and get logged in with visit certs. When Mulder wanted to take a hard drive, he would have already known by that time that he could not have and that it was already DOD controlled.

-This DOD pulling rank on an investigation is bunk! Law enforcement are allowed to do their jobs and those personnel who are investigating in DOD controlled spaces will get inadvertent disclosure briefings or something akin to that.

-And no, classified content NEVER leaves its designated spaces! The cops have to go to it, and if it does, it does so under cover of double wrapped packages that are not allowed to be opened unless in another DOD approved space.

Disney Gets Called On Carpet For STAR WARS Toys Character Omission

On yet another Disney note, this one, maybe not so good.

If you recall, a bunch of merchandise came out in support of the new Star Wars film, and at first, it was only an annoyance that the character Rey was not a solid part of those toy releases, including one Monopoly set.

Yet as it was questioned before the film came out, it was after the premiere that people screamed and toy makers responded by ramping up new toys with Rey included.

Here's the weird part to this whole thing:

In the movie Rey is the hero so excluding her seems odd at best.

But according to reports, allegedly toy makers were instructed by the Disney-owned Lucasfilm to exclude her character from their products.

DC's LEGENDS of TOMORROW, Maybe Meh, A Review

So we all caught the series premiere of Legends of Tomorrow on The CW last week.

In the ratings game, it came in last for its night, with a 2.3/4 rating, but these numbers are on par with CW programming, so aren't quite as dismal as they may seem to warrant.

But for me this platform for this time-traveling Avengers-like group is not gripping me like it could. Not yet. Character motivations are thin, the action fun, the choreography so-so.

I will be dispensing some spoilers from the premiere episode...

The premiere opened as expected, with Rip Hunter collecting these "heroes" (FireStorm, White Canary, Harkman and Hawkgirl, The Atom, and Captain Cold and Heat Wave) to bring down Vandal Savage. Apparently Savage does pretty bad things in our time line.

But first, Rip's mission is not sanctioned by his time-cop corp, so he's on the run from them. Plus Dr Stein kidnapped his other half to go on this trip.

White Canary is trying to deal with her needing to kill things and not being a hero any more.

Ray Palmer's (The Atom) vanity wants to be famous for saving the world.

And our two anti-heroes, Capt Cold and Heat Wave are in it for the chance to steal historical artifacts.

And the Hawk people have a vendetta to destroy Vandal Savage once and for all.

X-FILES Returns This Sunday, 1-24-16 (Ep Titles and Behind The Scenes Tidbits)

The X-Files

I'm not sure I need much more than the title of this piece, but since Google would slap my hand for a thin post, I guess I should start adding some kind of relevant content about the premiere of the return of The X-Files to TV on Fox. (If you like the above pic, there's MORE on Cinema Static's FB album page.)

The tagline for the continuing saga of our intrepid FBI agents is,

"The truth is still out there."

The cast includes

David Duchovny as Fox Mulder,,
Gillian Anderson as Dana Scully,
Mitch Pileggi as Walter Skinner,
William B. Davis as the Smoking Man,
Robbie Amell as Agent Miller,
Joel McHale as Tad O'Malley and
Andrew Morgado    as Charlie Scully.

There's also  Lauren Ambrose who plays Agent Einstein. Please tell me there's a joke in there somewhere?

Fan favorite Ryan Robbins (Arrow, Continuum, Falling Skies, The Killing, Sanctuary) will also be in one episode.

I just noticed in the cast listing we'll also catch Tom Braidwood in an episode or so. Hello, that's  Melvin Frohike, one of the "Lone Gunmen!" (Tidbit: Did you know that when he wasn't playing one of the Lone Gunmen, he was acting as the first assistant director on the set of the original X-Files?)

Ouch, The next Terminator film has been removed from Paramount Pictures movie schedule.  I guess that says I made a good move not wasting money on it. I'll wait until it hits my pay channels instead!

Of course the 'spin' is that it's not on hold, but they're adjusting their vision of this Terminator universe.

Adjusting as in toning down the costs of making a movie and going straight to TV? There is that option. Again.

Along with the new Xena show coming out on NBC sometime down the road, there's also going to be a new Xena comic book. But the figure in the comic book will bear Lucy Lawless's likeness.

What's up with that? Does that mean Lawless will be back or will there be a new Xena?  We'll see as the time approaches, right?

Or has the reboot project floundered and this is all the fans will be getting instead?

As of December they had a writer lined up for the show.

DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League, With Kevin Smith

If you were watching the CW this week, you saw the preview show for Batman Vs Superman, called "DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League," caught some preview clips of the upcoming Wonder Woman film and a few other tidbits about upcoming DC Entertainment films and the other characters we might meet in Batman vs Superman.

STAR WARS Ep VIII Release Date Changed

Disney changes premiere date of next STAR WARS film

Word on the street is that Disney moved Star Wars Ep VIII release date back several months from its original premiere date so now it is opening on Dec 15, 2017.

Though there's been no official reason, one response has been that  “the move follows the extraordinary success of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens.’

Which to me, means that Disney just realized that they can dominate the movie market at the end of the year due to a serious amount of weak contenders that are released during the holidays. And that success can carry over for a month into the next year because of the lull of tent-pole releases.

The first new film was also delayed from an original May opening date to December due to a number of production reasons, which shortened the planned production time span for the next film.

But with new creative forces behind the next film, at first I didn't see how that could be important.

TRANSFORMERS 5 Will Be Michael Bay's Last... Again

Transformers Cinematic Universe - Michael Bay directing

Want a good laugh? Michael Bay says that the upcoming fifth Transformers movie will be his last in the franchise.

OK, so let's go through this, via an interview with Collider.

In the interview that was supposed to be about Bay's upcoming film, 13 Hours*, the interviewer started to slide into the space alien robot territory and got a few questions off about the upcoming fifth film before Bay put him back in his place.

(You may or may not know it but as polite and considerate Bay is to all media, including bloggers, he also does not suffer fools and calls people out pretty fast when they make stupid.)

But with the few questions the blogger got off, We learned nothing more than that he can't tell us anything.

If you recall, Dark of the Moon was going to be his last gig. Then got on board with Age of Extinction because he felt that the franchise was still in the middle of changing it's course.  And then, after Extinction, that was going to be his last. (Was it me, or was there actually way way too much fighting in Age of Extinction?)

IDOL May Not Go Away, News About EMPIRE and SCREAM QUEENS

Despite American Idol having had their worse season premiere ever, as they go into their final season, there's a weird word going around that Fox execs are asking staff to call this last season of American Idol it's "farewell season," not it's "final season."

What's up with that?

Fox has confirmed that this is the final season of Idol... on Fox.

Which has me wondering if some other network will pick up this neutered version of Idol.

Neutered because since Simon Cowell left, it's been nothing but nice, kissy, kissy judges that don't have a mean bone in their body. BORING! Viewers loved it when contestants got upset, cried, vented, etc..

And while we're focusing on Fox,

They've renewed Empire and Scream Queens

Is it possible we may still see Supergirl and The Flash grace the same screen time in our near future?

Supposedly The CW and CBS are still debating about a cross-over between Supergirl and The Flash. There is even a hint of Green Arrow being a part of it.

Riiight. If we could only get that!

The CW is a subsidiary of CBS, so it's not technically about the two networks, but more than likely a bunch of legalese between character rights and permissions.

Much like when Smallville had a hell of a time with not being allowed to show the blue and red suit on Clark.

Back on track:

More 24 Coming, A New PRISON BREAK Series

A New 24 On Fox

Fox is rebooting or continuing the secret agent franchise series, 24 and calling it 24:Legacy. The series will move forward with an entirely new cast, and the story will revolve around a military hero who asks the CTU for help.

The producers made no promises on the return of any characters fans have become accustomed to from the original series, and if recall, we will not be seeing Keifer Sutherland.

More Prison Break

Speaking of Fox, the network as ordered straight to series, a new rendition of Prison Break, and in this new show, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell are reprising their roles of brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows.

It will pick up several years after the events of the first show, but will ignore the finale we never saw on TV, but rather, went directly to DVD.

Some characters from the original show will return they say.

I'm almost done with watching Marvel's Jessica Jones on Netflix. To be honest, it's a fairly engaging story about a flawed hero, one with serious emotional issues across many fronts. She's not your typical kind of hero, but one with a gruff exterior or presentation. When she meets someone, it's not, hello, how are you. It's more like, whatever, move.

She's frustrating and appealing, all at once. It's a unique kind of character that's different from the ones we've seen from Marvel so far.

Netflix announced they've ordered a second season of the show, with another 13-episode season. No other details were announced in association with her second season, but I'm glad we are getting another helping of Jessica Jones.

While we're on the subject of Marvel shows on Netflix, in case you had not heard, The Punisher, AKA Frank Castle, played by The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal, will make his debut in the second season of Netflix's Daredevil.

But before the second season has even aired, a Punisher spinoff has been announced. But no other details have been put forth with that announcement.

2016 Critics Choice Awards Winners

This year's version of the Critics Choice Awards confused me. In some categories I completely agree with the winner, while in most categories where Mad Max won, I scratched my head, because basically, it was nothing but Death Race action porn in the dirt. Yep, I did not find it quite the same as others did, like Roger Ebert who went on and on about it being the best action film in history.

Where was Ebert during the Transformers movies? Oh yea, Miller did not direct them! LOL.

CAPTAIN AMERICA Films Are The Backbone Of The MCU

In an interview, directors Joe and Anthony Russo said they were taking this upcoming Captain America movie, Civil War, and turning the tides a bit on the franchise. They called Winter Soldier a political thriller and they said they're going to make this new chapter a psychological thriller.

To be honest, I guess you could call Winter Soldier a political thriller. There was politics in the involved in the last film. At least internal to SHIELD.

I'm not sure how they will make this upcoming film a psych thriller, but heck, if that's what they want to call it.

But I have to say, that of all the Marvel films that have come out, the Captain America films have always had a good, underlying story that supports the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in a broad sense. It's been developing the underpinnings of how SHIELD and the world interacts with our heroes in these and the other films.

10 CLOVERFIELD LANE, The Cloverfield sequel

About 10 Cloverfield Lane

J.J. Abrams did it... he kept a project so hush-hush that we were blindsided by this trailer, for what many are calling the Cloverfield sequel. My only problem is that the title seems so odd, too obvious.

In it, we see Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman and one other dude... John Gallagher Jr. stuck in a home or a cellar, for some reason. A reason only hinted at. But oh, when that door is opened for but a moment, the tease is something else.

Many are saying this is the sequel to the single-camera monster flick that was "all America's." (If you remember, since Japan and those guys have their own monsters, they called this America's monster.

ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW Remake Gets Cast Its Eddie, And It's Awesome

For any Adam Lambert fan, who just might, might be a Rocky Horror Picture Show fan, boy are you in luck!

News is that Adam has been cast in the role of Eddie in the Fox television remake of Rocky Horror Picture Show. As far as I'm concerned, Eddie was the best, albeit short, part of the story and I really wanted to see his role last longer.

But hey, it was what it was and I had to, well, digest the story.

This is some of the best news about a project that I care almost nothing about.  I just can't see anyone improving on the original, but hey, it is what it is.

Adam will be joining Victoria Justice and Ryan McCartan, who will be playing Janet and Brad, with Reeve Carney and Staz Nair rounding out this short list of the cast for now.

HEROES REBORN cancelled from the future

It seemed that when Heroes Reborn was announced, the fan base seemed happy. I mean heck, the trailers and previews seemed pretty cool. Then again, they were doing their job.

But as the show kicked it in gear, with fans pouring in to watch, at first, it seemed like an exciting time. But then the story started developing. And with that, the ratings started to decline just enough to the point that the net return of "modest" numbers is not giving NBC any kind of warm feeling.

And with that lack of a warm feeling, NBC has announced at the TCA that this one-time limited series run of Heroes Reborn will be staying just that, a one-time deal with no further seasons.

So What Sci-Fi/Fantasy Shows Are Returning/Premiering in 2016?

There's quite a bit of sci-fi/fantasy that's coming to TV that could actually be pretty interesting, like CBS's 13-episode Person of Interest season, X-Files, Westworld,  Check it out...

There are a few new shows headed this way that haven't aired yet, then after this, I'm listing the shows, but date, of what's new and what's returning from their mid-season breaks.

- - -

Westworld (HBO) - unknown premiere date but interesting to see Jonathan Nolan as one of the contributors, with Michael Crichton contributing to eight of the ten episodes.

(Did you see the piece several months ago about extras for this new series needing to be comfortable with nudity and contact with others while being nude? Then again, it is HBO, the land of soft porn. Hard Body Office?)

Preacher (AMC), based off a hit comic, but helmed by Seth Rogen? We'll see. No premiere date has been set yet.

Person of Interest just got the nod for a "spring premiere date!" With a half-season of 13 episodes coming. The final of these has been designed to play off as either a season or series finale, depending on how the show is received for this short season.

Legion (FX), will be a live-action series based on the X-Men comics.

Hunters (Syfy), is an adaptation of Whitley Streiber’s Alien Hunters book series and is being produced by Walking Dead's Gale Ann Hurd and developed by Natalie Chaidez (Sarah Connor Chronicles). Holy shit! "Nuff said there!

The 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards Winners

The 2016 Golden Globes have come and gone... with a few notable observations.

- There seemed to be a comedic overtone throughout that felt, like the same person was behind it all.

- There was a lot of bleeping this year. Bleeping, meaning, a zone of silence while talent used the some of the banned seven words of foul mouthing!

- Ricky Gervais was bold and daring, saying things that many may have been thinking.

- What the hell was going on with the Golden Globe people putting The Martian in the comedy category???

- I love that Christian Slater won for his role in Mr Robot. That's a great, gritty show.

- - -

Here's the list of winners:

Best Motion Picture, Drama
-- The Revenant

Best Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy
-- The Martian

Best Director – Motion Picture
-- Alejandro G. Iñárritu, The Revenant

ABC Approves SHIELD Spinoff, Huge Cast For INIFNITY WAR

Adrianne Palicki in Agents of SHIELD, slated for spinoff

Yay for Adrianne Palicki fans!

ABC announced that ABC television has ordered a pilot for Marvel's Most Wanted, a spinoff involving Agents of SHIELD character, Mockingbird, played by Adrianne Palicki and her husband, Lance Hunter (Nick Blood).

The real world is calling it a spinoff, but entertainment "insiders" are saying it is not a spinoff, but a new project based off of two characters from SHIELD, continuing their story under another title.

Um, AMC just said that a spinoff involves characters moving from one show to another... just saying, because I like stirring up shit.

Any how, I can't wait to see how this comes together. I like these two characters in the SHIELD series, I um, love watching Mockingbird, but will they be able to pull their own weight in their own story?

The Walking Dead news/update

In a piece over on, the main man behind AMC programming was being asked a bunch of questions and some of those questions involved The Walking Dead.

It's a detailed interview but what I took away from it or that was made clear was that, Fear the Walking Dead is not a spinoff, it's a companion series showing events that were taking place while Rick was in his mini-coma.

They feel a spinoff is when primary characters from a show head off on their own show. This, Fear, is not that.

AMC is focused on keeping TWD TV franchise alive and well, for as long as they can, as long as they can keep it "fresh and original."

There is no focus on an end-game at the moment.

When it was asked about a potential third Walking Dead series, the reply was that they are open to ideas from the creators, as long as it feels organic and not a forced money grab.

But to be clear, there are no conversations along those lines right now.

Marvel's JESSICA JONES on Netflix: Quirky, Fun and Daring Darkness

Marvel's JESSICA JONES review

Being my usual, on-top-of everything kind of guy, I just watched the first two episodes of Marvel's Jessica Jones on Netflix.  Yea, yea, I know, it's been out for a while.

The show stars Krysten Ritter, Rachael Taylor, Eka Darville, David Tennant, Carrie-Anne Moss, Mike Colter (As our introduction to LUKE CAGE) and more.

The first episode is something you DON'T want to watch in Starbucks or around your kids because it covers some steamy territory that might upset some or have you explaining things to your kids. There's not a lot of it, but there's enough.

But that's minor while the first episode took us through some quirky fun stuff demonstrated by our seriously flawed main character, Jessica Jones.(Ritter)

The first two-thirds of the first episode we watch her go through her routine, we learn she's a private investigator who chases cheaters and uses her powers to influence minor events around her.If you don't pay close attention, you may not even know she's super-powered... that is, until she picks up a car to catch a guy. But that's a minor thing.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle sequel movie will, according to insider rumor, have Krang and the Technodrome as the bad guy.

The theory/rumor is being supported by alleged test footage being shot, and an early press release of toy figurines for the second film.

We'll see.

But regardless, this one has GOT to be better than the first one.

Daredevil, season two, is premiering on NETFLIX on March 18th, 2016. Which means we'll all be absorbing the first season in one gulp and missing work the next day.

The trailer is cool, but it's not showing anything but quoting moments from season one. But then again, we know what's coming. Right?

George Lucas Petition, TEEN TITANS Show Dead, Upcoming TV Cancellations

If you are drinking something, put it down. If you are standing, you might want to sit. Good. Why? You might get a good laugh at the idea that fans have started a petition to let George Lucas back in the saddle for directing Star Wars Episode IX.

The petition says that director Colin Trevorrow is not suited to helm ep IX and that letting Lucas direct would be the best farewell ever. I am going out on a limb and thinking that the petition authors aren't a series of successful script writers whose content appear on the silver or small screen. Just a guess.

So while these well-meaning folks want Lucas back in the seat, I have to wonder that after calling Disney "white slavers" in an interview, and his not agreeing with the direction the multi-billion company went with this latest flick, well, I'm not sure I would hold my breath on this one.

Then there's this:

With the billions of folks on the internet, the petition, at the time I wrote the draft for this piece, and a few days later, the number of supporters grew from 1,200 to over 15,000 supporters. 15k out of billions of internet surfers, at this point, is statistically rather insignificant. Still, there are supporters of this idea out there.  Though, again, apparently these folks missed those prequels that so many people were barfing all over themselves about.

Seriously, how do people lose their grip and call the biggest mouse in the world a white slaver? HOW?

If you were waiting for TNT's live-action Teen Titans show, stop holding your breath.  They bailed on the idea.

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD Review - That's A Lot Of Chase Scenes

MAD MAX FURY ROAD movie review

If you like lots of action, with lots of "car" chase scenes, pepperred with lots of action, then this action film is for you! In fact there's so much action in Mad Max: Fury Road that when I took a moment to read over the Powerball numbers during the film, I think I missed about 10% of the dialog from the movie!

The synopsis:

Years after the collapse of civilization, the tyrant called Immortan Joe enslaves apocalypse survivors inside a desert fortress called "the Citadel." When the warrior Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) leads the despot's five wives in a daring escape, she forges an alliance with Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy), a loner and former captive. Fortified in the massive, armored truck the War Rig, they try to outrun the ruthless warlord and his henchmen in a deadly high-speed chase through the Wasteland.

Mad Max Fury Road starts out with almost ZERO back story to bring you up to speed, but seems, the filmmaker expects you to know things.

In the beginning of the film Max gets captured by one gang who uses him as a living blood bag. Through various events we do eventually learn little clues about how the world came to be the way it is in the film.

It takes half the movie full of chase scenes from point A to point B across the desert to start getting any story out of the characters.  I was getting worried it was going to be nothing but action, since the first 45 minutes was nothing but that. Then there was almost 30 minutes of conversation, then it was back to the action for the rest of the movie, as, for some reason, they decide to go back from point B to point A!

These are winners that people like.

With that said, let's take a look at who won what category tonight on the People's Choice Awards...

Is SCORPION Beginning To Jump The Shark?

I've been enjoying the CBS series called Scorpion. It is about a team of geniuses that have been assembled by Homeland Security. They tackle the cases with the sheer level of intellect, thinking their way through and out of things as cases develop.

The series is created for TV by Nick Santora (Vegas, Breakout Kings, Lie to Me, Prison Break) and stars Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham, Elyes Gabel, Kathraine McPhee, Robert Patrick and Rily B. Smith.

I'd say it's an hour of a bit of fun and I like the characters but of late, I believe the show has found "the shark!"
